About
ARTIST STATEMENT
I find that when Art speaks to me, it conveys a feeling specific to the human experience. Good Art can remind us there is a magic to being alive in this world, and that’s a feeling I’m hungry for. I am constantly researching Art from around the world and throughout history. For some reason, I’m often more inspired walking through a thrift store or flea market than a gallery or museum.
My work is an exploration of myself and the world through Art. Maybe all artists are explorers in their own way. Endless generations have added to the record and each new artist benefits from discoveries made and shared before. I think an endless unexplored frontier exists in all of us. It is the artists’ job to map out the places they went within themselves while also reflecting the world around us.
